Simplified and streamlined so you can do more with less.

Android users will receive the new update between August 23rd and August 31st. iOS users will follow at a date to be confirmed.

We've put together a short video walking you through the update so you can see what to expect. We also really recommend spending some time with your new Brain in Hand to get familiar with it. Everything should feel smooth and intuitive, but take a few minutes to explore. We want you to feel comfortable finding what you need.

A cleaner interface

The main thing you’ll notice is that we’ve refreshed the interface to make it cleaner, calmer, and more accessible. We’ve reduced clutter and spaced everything out better.

Everything’s bigger and clearer, and we’ve even moved some of the buttons around, including the traffic lights. This is to make them easier for your thumb to reach.

You may want to take a minute to note their new positions so you don’t have to worry about finding them when you need them.

Here is the technical bit

If you have automatic app updates enabled on your Android device, you should get this update automatically. If it doesn’t appear straight away, don't worry - the release will be phased across a few days, so not everyone will get it at the same time.

All Android users will have access to the new refreshed app by Tuesday 31st August.

If you don't automatically get updates, you can manually install the update after the 31st August by visiting the Play Store and tapping ‘Update’.
