Our team consists of neurodivergent and neurotypical professionals with backgrounds in health and social care, psychology, research, technology, business, and education; every member of our team is committed to making our vision a reality.
Brain in Hand’s Senior Leadership Team is responsible for ensuring that each area of the business runs smoothly and contributes to the big picture. Our leadership team is supported by a board of executive and non-executive directors with a wealth of experience across multiple sectors and industries.
Louise Morpeth, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member
Louise has over 20 years experience of senior leadership roles in the voluntary sector developing and testing innovations to improve user outcomes. She joined Brain in Hand in 2018 as Head of R&D and became Chief Exec in 2019.
Until 2017, she was Chief Exec of the Dartington Social Research Unit, a national research charity that brought evidence to bear on policy and practice. Louise was awarded a PhD by Exeter University in 2003.
Glenn Atter, Chief Technical Officer
Glenn is a technologist with over 20 years of commercial software development.
In his role as CTO, Glenn has taken the technology of Brain in Hand from initial prototype to fully fledged solution. He is keen to drive technology for supporting mental health in the same way that it has improved physical health.
Matt Daniel, Chief Operating Officer
Matt leads our work to integrate Brain in Hand’s unique system into organisations in sectors including health, social care, and education. He is passionate about delivering positive change for people and the services that support them.
Matt's career before Brain in Hand included work as a secondary school teacher and manager of the training consultancy division of YoungMinds.
Sarah Todd, Service Delivery Director
Sarah has devoted her career to improving the academic, personal, and professional lives of individuals from diverse and underrepresented groups. She and her team are proud to play a key part in supporting users to thrive in their neurodiversity and achieve their full potential.

David Fry, Executive Board Director
Starting his career at PwC, David has been a director of several healthcare companies and was Brain in Hand’s CEO from 2013 to 2019. David now works closely with our CEO, continuing to lend his experience and wisdom to Brain in Hand’s leadership, and is responsible for investment and major commercial matters.
Steve Page, Non-Executive Chairman
Steve has had a successful career as CEO of Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, a large mental health and community services trust in South London, and as an independent Chair or non-executive director to a number of companies providing innovative and quality services.
Elaine Simpson, Non-Executive Director
Elaine has a long career in UK education in addition to roles within the public, private, and third sectors including with a FTSE100 company. She has also served as the chair of both the National Children’s Bureau and the Slough Children’s Services Trust, and as a governor of Staffordshire University.
James Morgan, Non-Executive Director
James was one of the founding partners of management consultants Morgan Harris Burrows. He was a founder trustee and the chairman of the Autism Diagnostic Research Centre in Southampton, and was a founding director of Brain in Hand.
John Clarke, Non-Executive Director
John ’s extensive career has spanned work as a partner in EY, senior adviser at Boston Consulting Group, Global CIO and Senior Vice President at Nokia, Global CTO at Tesco, and Independent Board Director and member of the independent assurance panel on the government identity passport scheme, in addition to roles with Accenture, Digital, and BT.
Marek Gumienny, Non-Executive Director
Marek has substantial experience in private equity, during which time he has successfully invested in and exited a range of companies across many sectors, geographies and economic cycles. He is a founder member of 24 Haymarket Group.
